They are nice people. This exciting musical group likes to keep you guessing when it comes to their musical offerings. You just never know what musical genre they will draw from next, or what fascinating “twist” they’ll use in their arrangements of songs that you know. That’s how they “raise a little cain” with their music!

Raisin’ Cain plays an eclectic mix of folk music. Their influences come from folk, singer/songwriter, country, swing, blues, pop and roots music of all types. A typical set includes a mixture of these influences, along with a strong selection of original songs. This group loves music, and music-making!

Legend has it that Cathy discovered Terry and Randy sitting at a Zeller's lunch counter but this sounds like the stuff of urban myth to me! The group first came together as a trio - - Cathy, Randy, Terry - - in the summer of 2005. Rob joined the group in January of 2006 and the Raisin' Cain sound has been evolving and maturing since then.
